What To Expect At Your Reiki Session

  • The session begins with a short, confidential chat to see how you are currently feeling, any areas you want to put focus on and what you hope to gain from the session. This ensures the session is tailored to you and your needs.

  • After an explanation of the session and an opportunity to ask any questions, you will remove your shoes and lie down fully clothed on the Reiki table.

  • Once your settled, I will use calming music and gentle hands-on and hands-off placements starting from the top of your head to your feet. Your only requirement during the session is to relax and receive the healing energy without effort.

  • During the session you may feel warmth, tingling or may fall asleep, or you could experience more of a feeling of deep peace. There is no single way to experience Reiki, the goal is to allow yourself to relax, let go and know that every session is unique.

  • After you gently return to the room, we will have a brief chat about your experience, share any insights and I will offer any aftercare or follow up advice.
